The Anderson County Sheriff's Office, as part of the larger community, and empowered by the citizen's of Anderson County, will strive to aggressively and assiduously protect the lives, property, and constitutional rights of all who visit or reside in our region.
The maintenance of order, through crime prevention strategies or presence of force under the authority of law, shall always be top priority.
All employees shall endeavor to provide a swift, efficient, and effective response to crime, while remaining ever vigilant to ensure that such is done in an impartial, ethical, and professional manner.
In an effort to provide quality law enforcement service, which, as a matter of course, transcends jurisdictional boundaries, concentrated efforts will be made to foster a spirit of cooperation among other law enforcement and public safety agencies operating in our community.
Indirect means of crime prevention and detection will be employed by forging partnerships with other members of our community, thus promoting trust and understanding of criminal justice processes, which will lead to greater citizen participation and better quality enforcement services.
